Hey baby! Show us your high desert style. Are you funny? Mysterious? Flirty? We want to see your picture in the 2010 High Desert Baby Contest. The top 12 winners will be featured in the Press-Dispatch on Father's Day 2010 in a calendar printed in the newspaper! There is no cost to enter is and votes will be $1.00 each.

Winners will be in the Press Dispatch calendar printed in the newspaper on Father's Day 2010!

All proceeds go directly to high desert schools that participate in the Newspapers In Education (NIE) program, part of a nationwide literacy program that offers newspapers and learning materials to local teachers, free of charge.

Take a clear sharp photo of your baby. No polaroids, cell phone pics, or professional photos please.

Go to highdesertcontest.com and click on the baby contest. From there you will be able upload your photo. No phone pictures or professional photos.

Entries are being accepted March 15th 2010 through April 9, 2010, at 5pm.

VOTE!

Votes can be submitted online from April 14, 2010 through May 5, 2010 at 5pm and are $1.00 each, vote as many times as you like! Don't forget to tell your family and friends to vote!

WIN!

The baby photo with the most votes at 5pm on May 5, 2010 will be declared the winner and will be prominently featured in the 2011 twelve-month NIE Poster Calendar printed in the Press-Dispatch on Father's Day 2010.

NOTE: Calendar will be printed in the Press Dispatch. Additional color copies can be ordered after May 9th by calling 760-951-6267.

RULES

Babies must be born on or after April 1, 2008.

The Press-Dispatch reserves the right to require proof of age.

Photos will be online and in print, high resolution digital photos are necessary.
